Check It Yourself
Housing counseling, your credit reports, and the public license record. These links leave this site.

Three places to look
01HUD Housing Counseling
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development lists housing counselors. A counselor can walk through budgeting and homebuyer classes. City First does not run that list, and choosing a counselor is your decision.
02Annual Credit Report
The official place for a free weekly credit report from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. A score on a bank app is not the same document.
03NMLS Consumer Access
Look up Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group, NMLS #3446, and a loan officer's own license. The record there is the public one. A page on this site does not replace it.

A Real Conversation
Ready When You Are.
Talk with a loan officer who is licensed where the home is. Walk through buying, refinancing, or a loan that does not fit a standard file. Start with the directory, or answer a few questions first.
